Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Atlas Medical is currently seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PA) to be part of our mobile provider team. Atlas Medical specializes in providing primary care for geriatric patients in their homes and in Senior Living communities.

COMPENSATION: $75/visit (1099)
STATUS: Full-Time
SCHEDULE: M-F 8am-5pm (Flexible)
LOCATION: Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale, & Tempe, AZ

Job Summary
Each Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PA) is an important part of the Atlas Medical team. Atlas specializes in providing care for home health and hospice patients in senior living communities and in home settings. Job Responsibilities:
• Provide face to face psychiatric services to patients living in long term care, assisted living, and group home settings
• Assess patient's mental status based on symptoms
• Appropriately diagnose mental disorders and develop treatment plans
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues
• Consult with and educate the patient/family
• The provider is independent in his or her management of the assigned patients; Atlas will provide quality measures that will be expected in the care
• The provider will work closely with facility staff, patient families, and Atlas/Aegis support staff to provide patient centered care
• Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job
Skills & Qualifications:
• Possess a National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a focus in mental health
• Current license as a NP/PA in the State of Arizona
• Minimum of one (1) year experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid Driver's License (clean record) & reliable transportation.
• Proof of current auto insurance & registration
• Valid AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card (we can help)
• Current CPR Certification (we can help) & Negative TB Test (we can test)
