What’s a typical day as a Warehouse Packer? You’ll be:
- Moving and packing aluminum extrusions according to customer specifications while reporting to the production supervisor.
- Conducting visual inspections of metal for defects to ensure quality standards are met.
- Entering packed piece counts into the Epics system for accurate inventory tracking.
- Operating overhead cranes and/or forklifts to move extrusions safely.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of manufacturing experience (preferred).
- Possess basic math skills and can read, write, and enter data into a computer system.
- Are able to read and interpret blueprints, ensuring accurate packing processes.
- Have a reliable work history with good attendance and a desire to maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with a positive attitude and are a team player.
- Can lift up to 50 pounds and prioritize safety in all tasks.
