Description


The Boone County Prosecutor's Office is seeking a dedicated Victim Advocate to provide essential support to victims of crime and their families. The normal hours for this position are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday with the expectation of 35 hours per week. The is a non-exempt position with a 2024 salary range of $39,700-$49,700, depending on experience. County benefits will be provided.

The ideal candidate will serve as a compassionate liaison, guiding victims through the complexities of the criminal justice system, ensuring they understand their rights, and offering support during court proceedings.
