Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a  Travel RN -  MedSurg

Shift:  Days / 6:30a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per week (will accept 48 upon request), e very weekend, EOH

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• IN / compact license
• Minimum 2 years of strong Med/Surg experience
• 1 travel assignment
• Trauma level II experience
• Skillset: PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, drip management (heparin, cardizem), PEGs/NGs, ostomy care, remote tele, blood product administration, NIHSS/dysphagia screen
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS
• Recent Epic charting experience

Other details:

• First to float within skillset
• Patient Population: General M/S: gallbladder, colectomy, appey, hip/knee replacements/ORIFs, Covid, GI bleeds, CHF, COPD, sepsis, UTI, respiratory.
• Unit Information: 45 beds. Ratio: Days 1:4-5; NOCs 1:5-7; CN takes full assignment on nights and may take patients on days
• Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to change
• No local candidates (40 mile radius rule)
• Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs

Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
