We offer opportunities to work with local agencies and DOTs on a variety of complex projects. The ideal candidate will be a licensed Professional Traffic Operations Engineer and have significant experience in client development and pursuing, managing, and providing traffic engineering services for public agencies, including DOTs, counties, and municipalities. Location This position will have a hybrid work schedule and, when in the office, will work from our Austin, TX office. The Impact You Will Have Perform design calculations, and assist with design development Compute quantities and demonstrate awareness of relationships to pay items Develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner Perform tasks on schedule and within budget as assigned Work independently under the guidance of a Project Manager What You Will Need Bachelor's degreein civilengineeringor related field Professional Traffic Operations Engineering Registration in TX or through reciprocity from other State Experience working on DOT Projects Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in traffic engineering A track record of adhering to project budgets and project schedules Must be proficient in roadway design principles including DOT design standards and AASHTO design manual
