Summer Camp Counselor job at Berwick - YMCA Berwick, PA, US

Job Description

The Berwick Area YMCA s looking for a number of Summer Camp Counselors to join our team! We are looking forward to hearing from you.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and execution of the 2023 Summer Day Camp Season (June-September 2023)
Provide safe supervision of all Day Campers involved in our programs
Maintain proper care of all YMCA/Camp property and supplies
Participate in daily activities with Day Campers, including team sports, swimming, hiking, arts and crafts, team-building and more

Qualifications

Must be 18+ to apply
Available June-September for weekly programs as scheduled
Able to complete all background checks and clearances (FBI, State Police, Child Abuse)
Able to complete CPR/First Aid and Water Safety Training prior to or upon hire

Hiring Timeline

February - April: Initial applications accepted and reviewed
April: First round interviews held at the YMCA
May: Final selections made; Attend mandatory Camp training
June-September: Day Camp!
