Job Description

Manpower, Inc. of SE Michigan is currently seeking a Night Shift Staffing Assistant/Scheduler to join our team working onsite at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor! This is a part- to full-time, internal position that starts immediately. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule which may include days, afternoons, midnights, and/or weekends as well as on-call coverage as needed.

Location:  Michigan Medicine (University of Michigan hospital) in Ann Arbor

Compensation: Base rate of $21.00 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Scheduling temporary employees for daily assignments at the hospital.
• Working with hospital staff to achieve staffing goals.
• Maintaining spreadsheets and databases and handling documentation.
• Providing support to temporary employees working onsite at the hospital including performance feedback.
• Troubleshooting to resolve problems or complaints.
• Answering incoming and placing outgoing calls.
• Providing additional administrative support as needed.

Here’s What You Need To Apply:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to train on day shift and transition to night shift once trained.
• At least one (1) year of previous customer service or appropriate business experience preferred.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Highly organized and good attention to detail.
• Good computer skills including typing/data entry, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel – experience with O365 and/or SharePoint a plus!
• The ability to re-prioritize and shift workload as needed to ensure the most urgent and important tasks are attended to.
• Previous customer service experience not required but helpful.
