Staff Accountant - General Accounting

Key Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for managing the company’s books using QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise.
• Ensure accurate posting and classification of all accounting transactions.
• Handle high volumes of credit card charges and maintain organized receipts.
• Perform reconciliations for multiple bank and credit card accounts.
• Manage petty cash accounts and maintain accurate vendor records.
• Collaborate with departments and vendors to resolve discrepancies and obtain information.
• Assist in managing accounting calendars, filings, renewals, and deadlines.
• Support the director of finance with accounting and administrative duties.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
• A minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and integration with other systems.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
