Join our team as a Bradford Health Services House Manager, overseeing the well-being and development of residents in a live-in capacity, providing crucial support and guidance under minimal supervision. In this key role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safety, welfare, and supervision of clients, serving as a vital link between the Bradford Health Services case manager and all housing programming.
Key Responsibilities: - Client Wellbeing: As the live-in House Manager, your primary focus will be the safety, wellbeing, and supervision of clients within the Bradford recovery house.
- Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between residents and the Bradford case manager, ensuring effective communication and collaboration in all housing programming.
- Day-to-Day Management: Take charge of all day-to-day matters involving the residence, including coordinating house meetings, managing twelve-step recovery attendance, overseeing Bradford program participation, organizing service work projects, conducting house cleanings, transportation, ensuring food is available for patients, and performing room and safety checks.
- Leadership: Serve as a role model and spiritual leader within the Bradford recovery house and community, contributing to the positive living experience for all residents.
- Residence Oversight: Provide general oversight of residents, ensuring their adherence to house rules, foster a supportive community environment, and addressing any issues that may arise promptly.
- Activity Supervision: Supervise and actively contribute to all house activities, creating a structured and engaging environment that promotes residents' personal development and recovery.
- Positive Living Experience: Contribute to the positive living experience by promoting a culture of respect, accountability, and collaboration among residents.
- Contribution to Programming: Collaborate with the Bradford case manager to contribute insights and feedback to enhance the effectiveness of housing programming, ensuring alignment with residents' recovery goals.
Qualifications: - Supervisory Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role is a plus, demonstrating your ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Recovery Knowledge: A strong understanding of twelve-step recovery principles and the ability to inspire and guide residents in their recovery journey.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage various aspects of day-to-day operations efficiently.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will be a key point of contact for residents and program coordination.
