About the Role:

As we experience significant growth at VidAngel, we are seeking a passionate Customer Support Specialist to join our dynamic customer experience team. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of our business by delivering exceptional service to our customers via phone, chat, and email.

 

Expectations:

• Commit to full-time hours (36-40 hours per week) with flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

• Provide prompt and effective Customer Support during high-demand periods.

• Maintain productivity and demonstrate responsibility while clocked in. Team members must be able to put aside home responsibilities and fully focus on work during their scheduled hours.

• Showing empathy and a genuine love for helping people is crucial.

 

Requirements:

• Proven experience in customer and technical support, especially with streaming devices.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent written communication skills for chat and email interactions.

• A collaborative team player who enjoys problem-solving and helping others.

• On-site attendance is required for training and meetings; remote work options are available with self-monitoring.

 

Bonus Experience:

• Familiarity with Zendesk, Slack, and VidAngel.

• Basic understanding of development languages (SQL, Java, HTML, CSS, Python).

• Interest in UX/UI design, video editing, sound engineering, or technical writing is a plus.

• Experience with data manipulation and report building in Google Sheets or Excel.
