As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a mix of retail, mall, and residential locations. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will interact with residents, visitors, and staff, responding to inquiries and assisting with access control and badge procedures as needed. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the overall security-related needs of the location. Pay Rate: $14.39 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail, mall, and residential locations, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel or authorities as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain order within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to provide information and assistance as needed.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
