Position Overview:

Schoolhouse Staffing is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a collaborative team serving K12 students in Burnsville, North Carolina for the 20252026 school year.

This is a full-time, contract position providing on-site support. You will conduct evaluations, participate in eligibility/IEP meetings, and collaborate with educators and families to promote students academic, emotional, and behavioral growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations (initial, reevaluation, and eligibility assessments)
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and parents on strategies to support student learning and behavior
• Support implementation of RTI/MTSS processes
• Document and report findings in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral planning when needed

Qualifications:

• Master's, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
• Valid North Carolina School Psychologist license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Knowledge of special education laws (IDEA, FAPE, etc.) and NC DPI compliance standards
• Experience in school settings preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits:
