We are seeking a Sales Engineer with practical engineering experience to become a part of our team to answer queries, provide pre-and post-sales technical advice and support our products.

Qualifications/ Experience Required:

· Engineering degree or comparable experience in industrial capital equipment sales.

· Engineering related to heat treat or metallurgical experience desirable

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints

· Strong computer skills

· Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell large, custom engineered heat treatment equipment
  • Equipment features include various levels of automation and complex processes.
  • Manage existing business while always looking for opportunities with new customers
  • Educating customers on product features and benefits
  • Organize sales visits and maintain relationships with customers
  • Assist engineering and service with technical problems
  • Oversee and participate in the preparation of proposals and quotes to meet customer requirements
  • The engineering Sales team has support for proposal development and pricing from the Applications and Estimating Department.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms and conditions
  • Review of cost and sales performance
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required to support new equipment sales activity Interface with Sales Representatives and Partners as required
  • Attend trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
  • Ensure that sales targets are met
  • Conform to all policies & procedures within the company.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop customized solutions.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities of our offerings.
  • Analyze customer needs and provide insights on how our products can meet their objectives.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical support during the sales process, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies, including VMWare, AWS, Azure, and Linux.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials that highlight product features and benefits.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to foster trust and encourage repeat business.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical sales or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of computer networking concepts and technologies.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proficient in analyzing complex technical information and translating it into actionable insights for clients.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or VMWare is highly desirable.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to conduct engaging product demos.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
