Job Description

Job Summary:

The Retail Sales Associate at The UPS Store #5606 will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and increasing sales through product knowledge, suggestive selling, and excellent communication skills. This individual will be an integral part of our team and will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. As an individual contributor, the Retail Sales Associate will report to the Store Manager and work closely with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

This is a full-time, hourly position in the franchise industry. The compensation for this role ranges from $13 to $15 per hour, paid biweekly. Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Educate customers on our products and services and make appropriate recommendations
- Operate cash register and process transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Receive, process, and ship packages using UPS shipping systems
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Meet and exceed sales goals on a consistent basis
- Complete other tasks assigned by the Store Manager

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Prior experience with UPS shipping systems is a plus, but not required
