This Registered Nurse position is a critical care float pool role requiring a minimum of 2-5 years of ICU experience, with a preference for Trauma Level I facility experience. The successful candidate will rotate between ICU and PCU units on a 4-week block schedule (7a-7p then 7p-7a, 36 hours/week, including every other weekend). The position necessitates proficiency with EPIC and involves floating to various units as needed. COVID-19 vaccination and booster, as well as the 2024-2025 flu vaccine (or attestation for future receipt) are mandatory. A tele test will be administered on the first day; failure may result in termination.

Responsibilities:
- Providing direct patient care to critically ill patients in ICU and PCU settings.
- Assessing patients' conditions, administering medications, and documenting care.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition.
- Floating to various units as needed to meet staffing requirements.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- ASN (Associate's Degree in Nursing)
- 2-5 years of ICU experience
- Current Massachusetts RN License
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- EPIC experience
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster
- 2024-2025 flu vaccine (or attestation for future receipt)
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Trauma Level I facility experience (Trauma Level II experience will be considered)
- Previous travel nursing experience
Special Considerations:
- A tele test will be administered on the first day, with failure resulting in potential termination.
- Candidates who have worked permanently or as travelers for any specified facility within the past year are not eligible.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster are required, with no exceptions.
- 2024-2025 flu vaccine is mandatory; declinations are not accepted. An attestation to receive the vaccine prior to start is acceptable if not currently vaccinated.
