About the Role:

The Production Supervisor at our Spartanburg Plant will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the production line, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This position is responsible for managing a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The supervisor will analyze production metrics and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Additionally, they will collaborate with other departments to ensure that production schedules align with overall company objectives. Ultimately, the Production Supervisor will contribute to the success of the plant by fostering a positive work environment and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes and safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing management, or a related field.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Familiarity with production scheduling software.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Monitor production processes and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Analyze production data and implement strategies for process improvement.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality assurance teams to resolve any operational issues.
