Senior Business Consultant - U.S. Dairy Products Manufacturing

Production Manager USA Dairy Sector

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with food safety regulations.
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resources.
• Manage a team of production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with FDA, USDA, and other regulatory standards specific to the dairy industry.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Maintenance teams to ensure product quality and equipment reliability.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to reduce waste, improve productivity, and enhance product quality.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve production goals.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, creating a safe work environment for all employees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Food Science, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production management within the food or dairy industry.
• Strong knowledge of dairy production processes and industry regulations.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production management software.
