Role Overview We seek an exceptional Principal IAM Architect to lead our Enterprise Identity Governance Framework. This senior role involves architecting, executing, and improving our identity transformation strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and influencing organizational direction with minimal oversight. Key Responsibilities Own and lead the Enterprise Identity Transformation, from strategy to implementation. Guide IAM operations, governance, and SRE monitoring teams for cohesive execution. Design and deploy comprehensive IAM solutions utilizing Okta, SailPoint, Delinea PAM, Veza, and LogScale. Make strategic technical decisions on IAM architecture and product selection. Develop bespoke IAM tools and automation systems. Apply AI technologies to enhance identity governance and anomaly detection. Establish operational best practices, incident response procedures, and monitoring frameworks. Lead the development of IAM SRE practices, including SLAs, SLOs, and observability. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and develop executive presentations. Evaluate and improve current IAM architecture, identifying and implementing optimizations. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Develop and enforce technical standards for authentication, authorization, and identity management. Drive measurable improvements in security, efficiency, and compliance through identity initiatives. Qualifications 15+ years of enterprise IAM experience, including in mid-sized and large global environments. Proven success in scaling IAM infrastructure during hyper-growth phases. Deep expertise in IAM operations, governance, monitoring, and SRE practices. Strong software development skills, including building custom IAM solutions. Experience leveraging AI/ML for security and identity management. Knowledge of IAM technology stack: Okta, SailPoint, Delinea, Active Directory, cloud IAM (AWS, Azure, GCP). Understanding of RBAC/ABAC, identity protocols (SAML, OAuth/OIDC, SCIM), and federation models. Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing C-level executives. Leadership experience managing technical teams and mentoring IAM professionals. Proficiency with automation tools like Terraform, Python, etc. Preferred Skills & Bonus Points Experience with Zero Trust, containerized environments, multi-cloud IAM, and security compliance frameworks.
