Producer/Composer/Arranger/Guitarist, Billboard Top 10 Artist, Educator and Podcast Host Terry Wollman is looking for one or more Production Interns to help rebrand and re-release his podcast, "Making It with Terry Wollman" (250+ episodes from 2016-Present with 50+ more ready to stream), in which he interviews the music-makers behind many of the hits you know and love from the past four decades.

Learn the ins and outs of music and podcast production from an industry hitmaker with diverse experience in the music industry and get career advice from his guests as they discuss the creative process, passion, integrity, art, health, business, family, success, how to create and maintain a lasting career and what’s most important in life.

BONUS: You will have the opportunity to earn production credit to show the world that you’re ready for professional work!

We are recruiting for the following teams:

• Audio Editing
• Video Editing
• Marketing/Social Media
• Archival
• Quality Control (QC)

DEPENDING ON THE ROLE, RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Production Intern(s) will work directly with musician and producer Terry Wollman to:

• Organize the entire Making It interview catalog to cultivate the skills a working musician needs to work efficiently and effectively
• Learn the creative side of music post-production by assisting with the editing of the audio intros/outros for all episodes, to include new opening and closing theme music
• Learn how to leverage video by assisting in editing the video intros/outros for 90+ new episodes, including new opening/closing theme music and graphics
• Hone professional skills by helping to design and create a video template for upcoming NEW episodes that will be added to each new episode before it is exported to YouTube
• Create 30-60 second sizzle reels for social media promotion
• Earn experience with distribution readiness by preparing and tagging the content catalog for redistribution to all streaming platforms
• Research trends within the podcasting and entertainment sphere
• Assist the "Making It" marketing team to create social media posts, content calendars, and track engagement across platforms

REQUIRED SKILLS

The successful Production Intern will:

• Have a desire to learn about "what it takes to create and maintain a career" in the arts and entertainment business,
• Know basic video and audio editing,
• Be organized and solution oriented, and
• Understand the fundamentals of social media promotion

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in Pro Tools, Adobe Premiere, or Logic
• Knows Google Work Space (Drive, Spreadsheets, and Docs)
• Experience with podcast, film, or music production
• Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or After Effects

This is an UNPAID position with eligibility for school credit. Time commitment is around 10-15 hours per week.

Terry Wollman is a Producer, Composer, Arranger, Guitarist, Billboard Top 10 Artist, Educator and Podcast Host. He earned his BA in Arranging from Berklee College of Music and has worked in the music industry since 1981. In his podcast, he interviews notable music industry professionals on the creative process, passion, integrity, art, health, business, family, success, how to create and maintain a lasting career and what’s most important in life.
