Plastic extruder operator

Oshkosh manufacturer is looking to expand! If you love working with machines and have good mechanical aptitude and experience running machines, this is an excellent opportunity! Work a 12 hour shift and only work half of the year!

Position –  Plastic extruder operator

Job Location –  Oshkosh, WI

Starting Date –  ASAP

Employment Term –  Temp to hire

Employment Type –  Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 12 hour rotation shifts

Starting Pay – $19+

Required Experience –  At least 2 years machine experience

As a Plastic Extrusion Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining plastic extrusion machines to produce various plastic products.

Responsibilities

• Operate plastic extrusion machines to produce products according to specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished products for quality and defects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Qualifications 

• Experience operating plastic extrusion machines is preferred but not required. 
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality. 
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
