Position Overview for the PC Technician:
Our client is looking for a PC Technician. This candidate is responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware, and peripherals. This role involves upgrading or replacing hardware and software systems, as well as managing user accounts, including security, rights, and system groups. The specialist provides routine problem-solving for network or PC software, hardware, or peripheral issues, and coordinates with vendors for service when necessary. They install and configure computer hardware, software, and peripherals for new employees or during relocations, and manage software installations and upgrades. The specialist may also handle password assignments and contribute to the development of system documentation and procedure manuals. Additionally, they may conduct training sessions for employees on the use of software and hardware systems.
Required Skills for the PC Technician:
- 3-6Â years of experience in desktop support within a corporate environment, providing technical assistance to employees using Microsoft Windows OS (preferably Windows 10 and 11).
- Proficient in break/fix troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
- Expertise in system refresh, imaging, and reimaging processes for deploying and configuring workstations.
- Strong knowledge of Office 365 and Active Directory, including user management, permissions, and troubleshooting

- Experience using ServiceNow or Remedy (or similar ticketing system)
