The MPL Specialist (sit down & pallet jack forklift operator) will be responsible for following all safety operational procedures while providing support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping, and receiving warehouse products. It will be essential that the MPL Specialist supports and integrates Sizemore’s core values of Flexibility, Improvement, Reliability, Safety and Teamwork into the daily performance of assigned responsibilities. Responsibilities include transporting material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility, picking, wrapping and staging orders to be shipped, performing cycle counts by scanning and counting material to ensure accuracy of inventory, complying with all safety rules and guidelines of the location, and other tasks as assigned. Qualifications include high school graduate or GED preferred, forklift experience preferred, basic mathematical, reading, and communication skills, positive attitude and good work ethic, proactive and self-motivated with strong multitasking ability, good hand-eye coordination, commitment to service and professionalism, patience, tact, enthusiasm, diplomacy, initiative, sound judgment, problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, ability to work with minimum supervision, effective verbal and written communication, and must be at least 18 years of age. Working conditions include work in a climate-controlled environment, ability to stand for long periods and move freely in a 400,000 square foot facility, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, ability to work weekends and overtime as required, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
