Job Description

NJ Malin & Associates fulfills a vital need in our economy-the Malin team provides intralogistics solutions that help some of the most recognizable names in the world be successful in servicing their customers. Malin is looking for a Transportation Coordinator that will be responsible for all aspects of coordinating the delivery of these solutions to our valued customers. The Malin Team is comprised of ambitious, motivated individuals that take challenges and turn them into solutions using their inventiveness, imagination, and analytical thinking. Malin is guided by our principles of performance, value-creation and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, familiar with technology, and able to handle competing priorities with professionalism and thoughtfulness.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage Malin’s Cradle Team – Dispatch, Coordinate and track all cradle jobs for Malin’s Customers.
  • Coordinate Customer Moves which includes working closely with salesmen/CCR/Other Raymond Dealers to quote, schedule and track moving customer owned equipment.
  • Manage Malin’s Transportation Database for 7 branches (Shipping Log) This includes scheduling Malin Drivers and determining what should be outsourced via logistics broker
  • Obtain DOT permits for equipment transported over height limit (Malin Driver’s Only)
  • Constant communication with warehouse personnel on incoming and outgoing freight
  • Assist other Logistics team members when necessary.
  • Provides coordination for all transportation responsibilities including related administrative support so that internal and external customer needs are met timely and company business objectives are fulfilled.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

Associates degree in Business preferred, but not required

1-3 years experience in Transportation and Logistics

Special Requirements

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel

Solid organizational skills
