Pride Health is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist to support our client’s medical facility based in Cleveland, OH 44103. This is a 02-03 months assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!\n\nJob Details: \nJob Name: Medical Lab Scientist\nLocation : 6701 Carnegie Ave, Cleveland, OH 44103\nDuration : 2-3 months Contract (Possibilities of extension)\nShift : Tus – Sat 2nd shift - 4 PM-12:30 AM EST\nPayrate :35-40 $/hr. on w2/Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.\nNote: 2nd shift 10% differential and Sat shift additional 10% shift differential\n\nJob Details:\n•\tDetermine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria. \n•\tPerform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures. \n•\tMonitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality. \n•\tDemonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving. \n•\tPrepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls. \n•\tReport accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care. \n•\tPerform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures. \n•\tIdentify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary. \n•\tAssist with processing of specimens when needed. \n•\tMaintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.\nRequirements: \n•\tBachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements. \n•\tMinimum 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience is required. State Medical Technologist license may be required (will be listed in requirement if it s needed). \n•\tASCP or AMT certification is either preferred or required (will be listed in requirement if it’s required). \n•\tAbility to work independently and within a team environment. \n•\tProficient with computers.\n•\tFamiliarity with laboratory information systems is a plus. \n•\tHigh level of attention detail along with strong communication and organizational skills.
