Job Description Applies advanced technical project management frameworks and methods to resolve highly complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Determines methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results. Manages projects of broad and diverse scope, size, impact, budget and / or project team size, with considerable impact to the organization. This contract position is required to lead the Supply Chain and Timekeeping Application migration for a multi-hospital transition from current platforms deployed to UCSF standards. This technical project manager should have an excellent understanding of: Enterpriese Applications inclusive of SupplyChain and Time Keeping applications and core infrastructure components to help lead the transition activities. Determines methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results. Manages projects of broad and diverse scope, size, impact, budget and / or project team size, with considerable impact to the organization. Applies advanced technical project management concepts with a full understanding of project management practices and IT policies and procedures to manage complex projects. Provides analysis for highly complex, project-related issues. Implements the project management processes associated with UCSF IT products and services involving diverse departmental or cross-functional teams. Has overall project management responsibility. Assembles and directs large project teams, develops detailed project plans and schedules and monitors budget and resources. Directs project activities with the goal of completing the project on schedule and within budget constraints. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel. Oversees the project from initiation through delivery including system integration, , interaction with vendors and managing risk. Gathers, analyzes and synthesizes complex data and information in reports, presentations and other formats to communicate project details, status, results and lessons learned. Spend time with all lines of business (Finance, SCM IT, etc.) to understand and codify our processes, policies, and challenges. Understand each areas pain points and priorities, to help guide to successful outcomes with minimized customizations.
