JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Immaculate upkeep of the company’s inventory in a 32,000 square foot facility.
  • Become fluent with over 3500 unique inventory items by name and location, and be a beacon of knowledge concerning those items.
  • Manage quarterly, yearly and spot inventory hand counts and adjustments.
  • Forecasting, tracking and replenishment of production supplies and expendables (gel, gaff tape, zip ties, etc.)
  • Monitor, track, and schedule equipment repairs & maintenance.
  • Assist with overall warehouse organization, storage, labeling, shelving.
  • Ensures equipment is functioning, well organized and ready to support event productions and the goals of the business.
  • Advises employees on the care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping related problems.
  • Examine records and recommend remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving, and excess/obsolete stock.
  • Other duties as assigned.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Theatrical Lighting and/or Production Experience.
  • Warehouse or similar inventory operations experience.
  • Troubleshooting of processes, procedures, equipment, spatial layouts.
  • Understanding of theater lighting systems: DMX, dimmer control, conventional and LED lighting.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced high energy environment.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented and team driven.
  • Effective written, oral, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
  • Electrical repair.
  • Soldering.

WHAT WE OFFER:
