• Train as an Associate Underwriter on service related tasks.
• Gain knowledge of underwriting systems and policy types.
• Gather information for New Business applications.
• Process loss runs and credential letters.
• Shadow other areas: Underwriting, Customer Service, Manual Operations.
• Assist with various other duties and project work as assigned.

We are looking for candidates with…

• Active pursuit of degree in Insurance, Risk Management or Business with at least 2 years completed.
• Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to succeed in high volume environments requiring personal organization, multitasking, and regular reprioritization with short turnaround time on items of high impact.
• Proven ability to work on a team or operate independently and prioritize job duties.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Mandatory computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet).
• Year-round availability: 15-20 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week during the summer.
• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, both now and in the future.
