Job Description

The Psychology Department at Capital University invites applications for one full-time, term position at the rank of instructor of psychology in the department beginning August 2025. The course load is 15-16 credit hours per semester.

The department seeks individuals who are willing and able to teach some combination of Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, History and Systems of Psychology, and Biological Psychology. The successful candidate must be willing and able to regularly teach at least one of the following classes: Introductory Psychology, Statistics, Research Methods. Faculty are expected to contribute to the institution's undergraduate research initiative by incorporating undergraduates into their research projects and supervising undergraduate theses and independent studies. A Ph.D. in psychology or related discipline is required.
