Enhancement Division Manager Job Requirements/Description:

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in management/scheduling experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in horticulture. Degree a plus, but not required.
• Category 24 pesticide certification is required, along with proper knowledge of treatment, material applications, and management/schedule of Spray Tech. Any other green industry certifications are a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and oral communication, time management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• * Not Required but is a plus: Bilingual (Spanish).

Job description:

• Meet with and draft proposals for potential new clients and enhancement proposals for existing customers.
• Demonstrate skill and ability in the area of sales and customer service.
• Working knowledge of all associated machinery and trucks involved in landscape maintenance.
• Oversee and coordinate multiple maintenance crews, scheduling, fleet maintenance, equipment, etc. to ensure jobs and crews meet our quality standards.
• Oversee crew scheduling and training to ensure proper equipment operation, landscape techniques, safety, and quality standards.
• Routinely inspect properties and proactively troubleshoot potential problems, such as plant health, landscape enhancements, etc.
• Address client/partner questions, comments, or concerns.
• Responsible for communication with the Horticulture Director.
• 90% of job is field work

Install Division Assistant Manager Job Requirements/Description:

Job description:

• Draft proposals, secure landscape/hardscape material for installation projects and assist in landscape design.
• Develop a clear understanding of costs and budgets for each job.
• Working knowledge of all associated machinery and trucks involved in the landscape installation division.
• Oversee and coordinate all installation projects.
• Address client/partner questions, comments, or concerns.
• Demonstrate skill and ability in the area of sales and customer service.
• Coordinate crews, materials, equipment, etc. to ensure job site quality meets the Michael Jackson Landscape Company standards.
• Oversee crew scheduling and training to ensure proper equipment operation, landscape techniques, safety, and quality standards.
• Routinely inspect properties and proactively troubleshoot potential problem areas: such as plant health, job site cleanliness, project time management, etc.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in landscape installation project management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
• Vast experience in large tree installation, grading, drainage, soils, irrigation, etc.
• Excellent written and oral communication, time management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• * Not Required but is a plus: Bilingual (Spanish).
