Job Title: General Labor Production Worker

Job Description

Candidates will be working in the end plating department. When railroad lumber comes off the machine, it buttons up to a different machine, and the candidate hits a button on the machine to stamp two metal plates on the end of the railroad lumber.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to stamp metal plates on the ends of railroad lumber.
• Ensure the smooth transition of lumber between machines.
• Monitor machine operations and report any issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Essential Skills

• 6-12 months of consistent work history in construction, farming, or any general labor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general labor, counting, farming, construction, roofing, landscaping, production, or production line work.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both outside and inside conditions, which can be very hot during the summer and very cold during the winter. It can also be smelly and dusty. You will work with a small team of 2 to 3 people. The dress code includes a hard hat, vest, glasses, gloves, sleeves, and uniforms, all of which are provided except for steel-toed boots.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bangor, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
