Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Summary:

As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for building the 'client-side' of our web applications. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. We expect you to be a tech-savvy professional, who is curious about new digital technologies and aspires to combine usability with visual design.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features and build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders including back-end developers and web designers.
• Maintain and improve website.
• Test websites across browsers, operating systems, and devices.
• Monitor website performance, watch for traffic drops related to site usability problems and rectify the issues.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
• Promote usability best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Front End Developer.
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
• Good understanding of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, or VueJS.
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.
• Experience with asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
