Job Description

Role Summary Free People Movement is looking for an Associate Director of PR & Brand Campaigns. This role will spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive brand campaigns and PR strategies. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong track record in shaping brand narratives, building media relationships, and orchestrating impactful campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and executive leadership, to ensure alignment with the FPM mission and business objectives. Role Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Develop and implement innovative brand campaign strategies that enhance brand visibility, reputation, and market positioning. Create and oversee the execution of PR strategies to build and maintain positive relationships with media, stakeholders, and the public. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting strategies accordingly. Campaign Management: Lead the conception, planning, and execution of integrated brand campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and experiential. Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all platforms and touchpoints. Analyze campaign performance metrics and adjust tactics to optimize results and ROI. PR: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, influencers, and industry analysts to secure positive coverage and brand mentions. Manage crisis communications and develop strategies to address any potential reputational risks. Coordinate press releases, media kits, and other PR materials, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand messaging. Leadership and Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and develop PR and brand campaign team members Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product, and executive teams, to ensure cohesive and aligned messaging. Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring they meet performance and budget expectations. Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for brand campaigns and PR initiatives. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on campaign and media coverage analysis. Prepare and present regular updates to senior leadership on brand performance and PR activities. Role Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus. 8+ years of experience in brand management, public relations, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of successful brand campaigns and media relations strategies. Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive decision-making. Experience managing a team and working collaboratively across departments. Expertise in digital marketing, social media, and traditional PR methods.
