Join a dynamic team that is transforming the world through automation and robotics! We are currently seeking a Permanent Automation & Robotics Field Service Engineer to support our Engineering industry clients. This role is ideal for an innovative individual who has a passion for technology and a desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-tech automation and robotic systems. This position involves extensive travel, up to 75% of the time, to client sites to ensure optimal performance of our cutting-edge equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide on-site technical support to clients, diagnosing and rectifying faults in automation and robotic systems.
2. Troubleshoot and repair various types of electrical and mechanical systems.
3. Program and operate FANUC robotics, ensuring they are running at peak performance.
4. Maintain and repair electrical controls associated with automation equipment.
5. Offer technical advice and guidance to clients, promoting best practices in automation and robotics management.
6. Regularly communicate with clients and the home office, providing status updates and detailed reports on field service tasks.
7. Participate in continuous training and development programs to maintain current knowledge of the latest automation and robotics technology.

Qualifications:

1. Associate's Degree (AA) or 2+ years of related experience required.
2. A minimum of 5 years experience in field service engineering, specifically with automation and robotics.
3. Proven experience troubleshooting and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.
4. Expertise in programming and operating FANUC robotics.
5. Solid understanding of electrical controls associated with automated equipment.
6. Willingness to travel extensively, up to 75% of the time, to client sites.
7. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
8. Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical clients.
9. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
