8+ years of Quality Assurance experience
- 6+ years of ETL Processes/ Data Warehouse Testing experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in ORACLE database technologies. Experience in writing complex ORACLE SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data validation and backend Data warehouse testing.
- Experience in ETL Processes (Data Warehouse Testing) and BI testing (Qlikview,Cognos etc.,). Proficient enough to Analyze Source Systems, Staging area, Fact and Dimension tables in Target D/W
- Hands-on experience with No-SQL DB, preferably MongoDB.
- Experience with Automated testing using Python Framework (Pandas, Numpy, Requests, Boto3)
- Experience working with Postman, SOAPUI, GraphQL or similar API testing tools
- Strong hands-on experience in test automation of APIs, webservices and Microservices.
- Experience working with Kafka data streams, Big data, Postgres DB and Data lake is a plus
- Experience working with Amazon AWS services like Athena, S3, Glue, Starburst etc., is a plus
- Experience working with UI automation tool like Selenium and load testing using Jmeter is a plus
- Proficient in defect tracking/Quality assurance tools such as ALM and JIRA. qTest is a plus.
- Competent technical skills and good time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team and individually.
- Experience with QA processes and deliverables in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to varying audiences
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Financial domain experience is a plus.
- Well-versed with all stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Roles and Responsibilities includes but not limited to,
- Review requirements and specifications, and define test conditions.
- Design test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting outcomes
- Provide estimates associated with testing activities and tasks.
- Responsible for preparing Test Strategy, developing Test Plan, Detailed Test Cases, writing Test Scripts by decomposing Business Requirements, and developing Test Scenarios to support quality deliverable
- Perform backend (database) testing using complex SQL queries in Oracle. Create regression suite using Python automation framework and Complete regression and integration testing as necessary.
- Work closely with the team/user to get all the details of the workflows defined and the APIs present to build the automated scripts accordingly.
- Analyze test results and log defects in JIRA. Partner with project team members on the resolution and re-testing of the identified issues and defects.
- Analyze and report test activities and results. Document, maintain, track and report test status using tools such as ALM/JIRA/qTest. Resource Informatics Group
