Drone Pilot (BBBH2310965) North Bend, Washington Salary: USD33 - USD35 per hour This position is in search of a skilled Part 107 certified operator with extensive experience operating drones via Remote Control. The qualified candidate will act as an operations specialist assisting in the development and testing of cutting-edge safety-related technologies. The role includes mission planning and lightweight maintenance duties. The candidate should demonstrate attention to detail, a safety-oriented attitude, flexibility, and enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology. This individual will also conduct limited operation readiness activities and logistics planning as needed. The role will also require cross-team training to support teams such as (but not limited to) delivery sites for pre-launch tasks. The candidate will join a Research and Development team working on inventing and developing new transformative experiences. Requirements: 2+ years of Remote-Control pilot experience with excellent coordination and execution Employees must, with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to lift to 50 pounds on some occasions, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours (with breaks), and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Experience leading small teams Travel up to 75% of the year Valid Driver’s License and able to satisfy driver eligibility criteria Work in volatile weather conditions (heat, rain, wind, snow) all within the established safety thresholds Drive to offsite work locations daily (work vehicle will be provided) Work variable shifts and schedules including weekends when applicable. Overtime may be required and approved based on work assignment. Shift/Hours: Can possibly start as early as 3 am and end as late as midnight Possible weekends especially if traveling 5 days a week - currently crews start at 1:00pm, and end at 8:30pm but this can change 8-hour shifts Preferred Skills: Experience with commercial UAS industry Aviation safety experience as a Safety Officer or similar Excellent business communications and reporting skills Part 107 license needed Degree or Certification: Bachelor’s (preferred, but not required) #J-18808-Ljbffr Lorien
