This job can be a lot of fun but we do work with live animals so we take it seriously. As much as we wish it was just playing with dogs all day, there is more to the job and we are responsible for their wellbeing.

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision
Be detail oriented in a "fast-paced" work environment
Treat every dog like you would your own
Be able to communicate with other staff and manager
Be able to work with co-workers in group setting
Be able to complete daily cleaning tasks
Be reliable and on time for work.
Able to clean up after dogs (yes everything)
Willing and able to learn a POS system
Basic math skills
Can lift up to 50 lbs
Must have reliable transportation
Can tolerate spending a fair amount of time outdoors year round
Must be able to stand for whole shift
Must be able to work from times ranging from 6 AM- 7 PM

JOB DUTIES:

Must be comfortable with all sizes and breeds of dogs
Be able to handle a group of 50+ dogs with other handlers
Monitor social behavior and cues in the play group
Learn names and common behaviors of each dog to manage them accordingly
Ensure dogs are safe
Immediately report injuries, health related issues or behavioral issues to the manager
Keep the play yard clean and poop free
Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and wiping down of surfaces
Emptying trash cans and poop bins
Clean facility according
Must be available weekends and holidays

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
