Strategy

1. Drive sustained integration of HEOR from early clinical development through commercialization.


2. Develop and oversee HO research strategies for Lillys portfolio in relevant therapeutic areas.


3. Serve as a strategic partner on lead/core teams throughout development and/or commercialization.


4. Formulate and drive Patient Focused Outcome, Real World Evidence, and economic value strategies for priority products and regions.

Study Development and Execution

1. Create high-impact scientific evidence to support patient outcomes across product lifecycles.


2. Apply technical expertise (e.g., statistical analysis, economic modeling, clinical trials, observational research) relevant to the role.


3. Use disease knowledge and research methods to address HO issues related to registration, pricing, reimbursement, and access.

Organizational Leadership and Influence

1. Combine technical expertise with business acumen and build strategic relationships with decision makers.


2. Lead HO evidence planning and implementation with cross-functional teams.


3. Influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals.

Information Dissemination

1. Communicate HO information effectively to internal teams, the scientific community, and customers.


2. Lead research dissemination efforts: abstracts, posters, presentations, publications.


3. Align and apply research results to maximize impact.

Environmental Awareness

1. Stay informed of developments in disease states, methodologies, and relevant issues.


2. Anticipate future market needs and trends in HO research.


3. Monitor and influence environmental factors affecting HO research.

Project Management

1. Ensure HO projects meet timelines, budgets, and scope by coordinating efforts with partners.

Minimum Requirements

1. Doctorate (PhD, MD) in relevant fields with 5+ years of experience, OR MS/MPH/PharmD with 10+ years of experience in outcomes strategies/projects.


2. Proven experience with Real World Data, including proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, Python).

Additional Preferences

1. Strong communication skills, ability to influence and collaborate.


2. Understanding of healthcare systems in US, Europe, or Asia.


3. Experience with healthcare delivery models, clinical research, and health economics.


4. Ability to lead research agendas and think globally with a customer focus.

Location: Indianapolis preferred; remote considered. Domestic and international travel may be required.
