Director of Sales / Sales Director / Hotel Director of Sales

Join a dynamic team at a leading hotel near Blacksburg, VA as the Director of Sales. This role is perfect for a driven and experienced sales leader looking to make a significant impact on top-line revenue while

managing all marketing efforts for a reputable brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales through direct selling, telemarketing, and developing key accounts.
• Manage group bookings, meeting room utilization, and sales contracts to maximize revenue.
• Lead the sales team by setting and achieving monthly sales goals and implementing action plans.
• Maintain strong relationships with top accounts and community organizations.
• Conduct market research and analyze competition to ensure the hotel remains competitive.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to create and monitor sales and marketing strategies.
• Attend trade shows and community events to promote the hotel.

Qualifications:

• Proven sales experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of local markets, hotel brand marketing programs, and reservation systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Experience in team management and employee development.
