Seeking a Dental/Medical Practice Manager in Upland, CA!

Our reputable Oral & Maxillo-Facial and Cosmetic Dental office is looking for an experienced practice manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental administration, HR management for small practices, and proficiency in bookkeeping and billing. We value professionalism, exceptional customer service, and leadership skills, and require someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Schedule: Full Time

• M, T, Th – 7:30 am to 5 pm
• W, F – 7:30 am to 3 pm

Compensation:

• Pay range commensurate with skill set and experience: $30-38/hr to start opportunity to move to salary of 65-75K per year.
• Based on practice performance/profitability there are bonuses after each trimester (Jan-April, May-Aug, Sept-Dec).

Requirements for our Dental/Medical Practice Manager include:

• Must have dental admin experience
• Very personable and professional presentation
• Experience with small practice HR management (8-15 staff) possessing strong leadership skills
• Very proficient with bookkeeping (QuickBooks)
• Very proficient and knowledgeable with dental and medical billing
• Highly organized and detailed oriented
• Ability to manage a team focused on exquisite customer service based on a history of 25 years of excellence
• Ability to maintain and manage practice production and scheduling goals
• Solid communication, verbal, and written skills
• Competence with ARs and APs revenue cycle management for small practices
• A knowledge of surgery centers and oral surgery management is a strong plus and differentiation factor for employment
• Supply and inventory management history
• Payroll competence (we use Paychex)
• Marketing and liaising with referral offices
• Strong work ethic as our practice is very demanding of time
• Self-driven and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work under multitasking demands and potential perceived stress demands of a busy surgical practice
• Willingness to work after hours 1-2 days a month for practice marketing events through continuing education and open house events.
