Rightech is working with a national integrator who install dc power in both data centers and central offices. The project is in Atlanta with travel throughout the south east.

Job Title: DC Power Technician

Job Summary: The DC Power Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of DC power systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot DC power systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections of DC power equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform cable running, wiring, and live DC power transitions.
  • Stack, clean, and strap VRLA batteries.
  • Provide technical support for clients and internal teams on DC power-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills.
