Corporate M&A Mid-Level Associate

Position Overview:
A top-tier, technology-focused law firm is seeking a mid-level associate attorney to join its Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice group . The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling complex M&A transactions and working with emerging growth companies, particularly in the tech and life sciences sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as lead associate on M&A deals, including public and private transactions, cross-border deals, and venture-backed exits.
Advise clients on deal structuring, due diligence, and drafting/negotiating key agreements.
Collaborate with partners and cross-functional teams on transactional and general corporate matters.
Assist clients with post-closing integration and governance matters.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of relevant M&A experience, ideally at a leading law firm.
Strong academic credentials and a J.D. from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Bar in the jurisdiction of the office location (or eligibility to obtain admission).
Demonstrated experience with:
Representing buyers and sellers in complex transactions.
Working with technology companies, startups, or VC-backed businesses.
Drafting and negotiating a variety of corporate agreements.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and client-service mindset.

Compensation:
Base salary range for this position is $225,000 – $365,000 , depending on experience and location.
A competitive bonus structure and comprehensive benefits package are also provided.
