Job Details:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Aviation Project Manager to join our dynamic Engineering team. This is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to manage aviation projects, contribute to business development, and work closely with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing aviation projects, from inception to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of aviation projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Develop project schedules and budgets, and manage project resources effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and standards in all project activities.
  • Oversee airfield design and airfield lighting installation projects.
  • Conduct runway design and other aviation-related engineering tasks.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including proposal development and client relationship management.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering staff.
  • Conduct risk management activities to minimize project risks.
  • Prepare and present project status reports and other project documentation to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation project management.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification is required.
  • Proven experience in managing airfield and airfield lighting projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations and standards.
  • Proficient in runway design and other aviation-related engineering tasks.
  • Strong business development skills, with a proven track record in proposal development and client relationship management.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve project issues effectively.
  • Proficient in project management software and other relevant software applications.
