About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its newly acquired portfolio business. The successful candidate will be a passionate and committed leader with a strong operational orientation, particularly in the areas of marketing, strategy, and sales. While not mandatory, a background as a CEO of a middle-market company or a key executive within a larger enterprise is highly valued. Experience in the engineering services sector is a key requirement, with a preference for candidates who have a background in private equity. The role involves both honoring the company's heritage and driving its future, in line with the significant investment and scaling plans of the private equity sponsor. The ideal CEO will have a will to win that is both inspiring and contagious, and will be responsible for diligencing potential opportunities for the business, as well as leading its strategic and operational growth. Although an engineering degree is not essential, a strong educational and professional background, spanning 15-25+ years of progressive career success, is expected. The company is open to candidates from diverse backgrounds and is an equal-opportunity employer. While not a prerequisite, experience in M&A is also preferred. The role is pivotal in the company's journey, and the appointed CEO will play a critical part in its expansion, both organically and through acquisitions, in line with the ambitious investment thesis of the private equity sponsor.
