• Supports Business Intelligence Software Systems including financial consolidation system and reporting systems;
• Performs data analysis on in-house systems ranging from financial to operational and HR related systems;
• Engages and interacts with business users to identify requirements and develop documents for the reporting needs of the business; engages with business users to troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues;
• Develops reports for financial analysis and management reporting; creates SQL-statement-based queries to facilitate data analysis;
• Diagnoses, documents and resolves software and reporting system issues identified by the business;
• Works with users to address ad-hoc data analysis requests; determines proper course of action; prioritizes tasks and responsibilities to properly manage workload;
• Troubleshoots data and BO application issues; fully analyzes impact and determines strategy for resolution; assists in implementation of solutions;
• Manages, maintains and administers servers and workstations utilizing BI and reporting software;
• Escalates top priority, production-critical issues to appropriate support staff;
• Makes recommendations of perceived solutions to potential problem areas and methods for improvement;
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education / Training
• High School diploma required; College degree preferred.
Qualifications and Experience
• 1-3 years of technical experience with technical knowledge to install and work with applications;
• BI systems experience desired;
• Database and reporting systems experience;
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Excellent organizational skills/attention to detail;
• Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills;
• Use of good judgement and good interpersonal communication skills;
• Exercises confidentiality and discretion;
• Ability to manage projects as assigned.
