Automotive Controller

Position Overview
The Automotive Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the automotive dealership. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting and financial principles specifically tailored to the automotive industry, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all financial operations and reporting for the automotive dealership.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and automotive industry standards.
• Oversee account reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Coordinate payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
• Utilize ERP systems, including QuickBooks and Oracle, for efficient financial operations.
• Communicate financial information effectively to dealership management and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial operations, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance regulations.
• Proficient in financial analysis and reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems, including Quickbooks and Oracle.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
