Under the general supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the Accounting Officer (Specialist) is responsible for processing grant agreements invoice payments, monitoring and reconciling Accounts Payables obligations of the department, completing monthly AP reconciliations, and ensuring adequate funding is available for each Purchase Order, Service Order and Contract, in addition to ensuring the correct funding information is used for each invoice utilizing the appropriate Chart of Accounts (COA) codes. The Accounting Officer (Specialist) also assists the Accounts Receivables (AR) desk with the set-up and monitoring of ARs in the Fi$Cal system.You will find additional information about the job in the .
