KIPP Indy is seeking a committed and innovative Middle School Math Teacher to join our team of educators. This role requires a teacher who is dedicated to ensuring that all students develop a strong mathematical foundation through engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and problemsolving skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for math instruction a commitment to fostering student achievement and a willingness to continuously grow and improve through feedback and collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and deliver engaging standardsaligned math lessons that foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and promote problemsolving and critical thinking.
• Implement a variety of instructional strategies to support diverse learners including realworld applications of math concepts.
• Regularly assess student progress analyze data and adjust instructional practices to ensure academic growth and mastery of content.
• Foster a positive inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Maintain high expectations for student achievement and behavior while providing targeted support for students who need additional academic or behavioral assistance.
• Build strong relationships with students and families ensuring consistent communication to support student success.
• Collaborate with colleagues and academic coaches to align curriculum share best practices and continually improve teaching practices.
• Be open and receptive to feedback working with academic coaches to reflect on instructional practices and identify growth opportunities.
• Take ownership of your professional development and seek opportunities for learning and growth.
• Participate in schoolwide events professional development and family engagement activities to strengthen the school community.

Qualifications :

• Valid Indiana teaching license or in the process of applying for reciprocity with a valid outofstate license (required).
• Bachelors degree in education or related field (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in middle school math (preferred).
• Experience using data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes (preferred).
• Commitment to equity high expectations and the belief that all students can succeed (required).
• Openness to feedback and commitment to continuous improvement (required).
• Pass a criminal background check as required by law (required).

Additional Information :

Licensed teacher starting at $50000
Salary is commensurate with experience and includes a highly competitive benefits package. Opportunities for performancebased bonuses are also available.
